Winds will increase tonight and become gusty and continue through Saturday. Gusty winds up to 35-40mph are possible over the northwest .
Partly to mostly cloudy skies can be expected tonight, with much warmer than normal conditions, some 15-20 degrees above normal. Winds will become breezy in the ArkLaMiss Delta overnight as a cold front approaches the area.
Increasing rain & a few isolated thunderstorms will be possible right along the cold front Saturday. This front & thin line of rain & isolated storms will move into the Delta by early-midday Saturday, around the I-55 corridor by mid-late afternoon & early-late evening across the Pine Belt & I-59 corridor. Expect above normal temperatures in the mid-upper 70s & gusty winds in the ArkLaMiss Delta along & in the wake of the cold front.
