A line of thunderstorms is expected to push through western portions of the forecast area late Friday Night. The main risk of severe weather will be for locations west of the Interstate 55 corridor during this time . Hail & damaging wind gusts are the primary risks.
The possibility of severe thunderstorms will continue through the day Saturday as the region will still be impacted by a slow moving frontal system passing by to the north. The main risks will be damaging winds and hail to the size of quarters.
Severe storms will again be possible Monday afternoon across northern portions of the area. Please continue to monitor later outlooks, as it's possible both the threat level & area could be increased.
