A marginal risk of severe weather will exist in the southern portions of the region on Sunday. The main threat will be damaging winds with a secondary threat of tornadoes.
Rain chances will begin to increase from the west overnight. No winter weather is expected. Temperatures will fall into the 40s and even some upper 30s are possible around the Golden Triangle.
Widepsread rain with a chance of thunder in the south is expected Sunday. A strong to severe storm or two cannot be ruled out in the Pinebelt region.
