Heavy Lake Effect Snow likely for the Great Lakes; Heavy Mountain Snow with Areas of Lower Elevation Snow and Freezing Rain in the West, Breezy and Cold in the Northern Plains

Lake Effect Snow Warnings are in effect for the Great Lakes with 2 to 3 feet storm total snow possible. Arctic Air extends across much of the U.S. with breezy winds and temperatures 15-35 degrees below normal in the Northern Plains.
