Only isolated thunderstorms are expected to linger near the Louisiana coast over the next couple of days, while interior sections of the mid-Gulf States remain relatively dry. The moisture begins to surge northward Tuesday night. Meanwhile, temperatures will be creeping closer to 90 degrees in some locations by Tuesday.
