There is a slight risk of severe weather across all of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi today - mainly during the late morning and afternoon hours. If any severe storms do develop, the main threats will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. However, 1 or 2 tornadoes cannot be ruled out - mainly across Southwest Mississippi.
Stormy conditions are expected today. A few of the storms could be strong to severe. Much more pleasant weather is expected on Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s each day, and lows will cool into the 60s.
