A cold front has moved through southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi overnight. The front is bringing much welcomed cooler and drier air. These pleasant conditions will stick around at least through the middle of the week. High temperatures the next few days will mainly be in the 70s. Overnight lows could fall into the upper 40s over northern portions of the area tonight, with lows otherwise in the 50s for much of the area the next few nights.
