There will be a marginal risk of severe weather Monday morning over southern Mississippi and portions of southeast Louisiana along and north of a line from St. Francisville to Ponchatoula to Slidell. The main threat will be strong to damaging wind gusts, although an isolated weak tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
A milder Sunday though partly to mostly cloudy as south winds bring warmth ahead of an approaching cold front. Some showers and a few storms, some which may briefly become strong to marginally severe prior to frontal passage Monday morning. Skies clear after the front with cooler temperatures, though no freezes are expected the upcoming week.
