Widespread rain is expected for the South Plains region over the next several days. Rain totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected to be common through Tuesday with areas of 3 to 5+ inches in the Rolling Plains. The heaviest rain is expected to fall tonight through tomorrow evening. There is the possibility that the heavy rain will cause some flooding especially across the Rolling Plains where a flood watch is in effect from 7am tomorrow through 7am Wednesday.
