A few storms are possible this afternoon and evening along and near the Texas and New Mexico border. The main hazards will be winds up to 60 mph, hail up to one inch, and localized flooding.
Widespread rain is expected this weekend into early next week. Rainfall amounts through Tuesday are 2 to 3 inches with some areas up to 4 inches in the Rolling Plains. Temperatures will decrease with highs in the 70s by Monday.
