A line of thunderstorms is expected to move into western Arkansas around midnight, then push eastward during the overnight hours. The greatest potential for organized severe storms will over western Arkansas, mainly west of a Harrison, Russellville to Texarkana line. Damaging winds are expected to be the main threat, with large hail and isolated tornadoes possible. The severe storm potential will continue to move east gradually out of Arkansas today. The line of strong to isolated severe thunderstorms will be out of the state this morning, then only a marginal risk of a severe storm will be possible over eastern Arkansas. Damaging wind is the primary concern and some possible hail with any severe storm.
