The next in the series of storm systems is forecast to affect Arkansas late Wednesday and Wednesday night, bringing another round of severe weather to the state. A line of thunderstorms is expected to accompany a cold front that will move across the state. All modes of severe weather will be possible, including damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes. Closely follow forecasts in the next few days from your National Weather Service for the latest information. The severe storm potential will continue to move east gradually out of Arkansas today. The line of strong to isolated severe thunderstorms will be out of the state this morning, then only a marginal risk of a severe storm will be possible over eastern Arkansas. Damaging wind is the primary concern and some possible hail with any severe storm.
