Looking ahead to the rest of the week, there are a few key forecast items of interest to take note of. First, while other days will actually be warmer, there will be a chance of setting some daily record highs on Wednesday this week. Mainly for a few locations in central and northern Arkansas. The second item of interest will be Friday afternoon after a dry front moves through. Behind the front, warm temperatures, gusty winds, and low relative humidity levels will create high fire danger levels. And finally, despite recent warm weather has caused some trees and flowers to bloom, we are still technically in winter, and cold temperatures are still possible. So gardeners take note, lows near freezing will be possible over the northwest half of the state Friday and Saturday nights.
