NCEI has put together a webpage full of information regarding the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. Check it out!
So far (through March 27th), 2024 has the second fewest tornadoes (2) since 2010. Other seemingly slow years became active such as 2011 (67 tornadoes in April/May) and 2014 (Mayflower/Vilonia Tornado on April 27th).

When all set and done, rainfall amounts in excess of six inches was recorded around the state. Flooding caused considerable damage to roads, bridges, and buildings. At Clinton, over 300 cattle drowned in low-lying areas. One person drowned in Richland Creek in Searcy County after his boat overturned.
