There will be some big weather changes across Arkansas over the next few days. Tonight... temperatures are likely to fall below freezing across much of the state. This could kill off some of the early blooming plants that have started to flower across Arkansas. Sunday is expected to remain dry, but rain chances increase quickly Sunday night into Monday morning as a warm front approaches the state from the south. On Monday, most locations are expected to remain damp and cool as the warm front slowly moves north into Arkansas. Thunderstorm chances increase Monday afternoon near the warm front, and continue on Tuesday afternoon with the front north of the state. There is at least a low chance for severe storms Monday and Tuesday afternoon across Arkansas.
Many low temperatures tonight will be below freezing. The lows will range from the mid 20s to mid 30s. Be sure to take precautions to protect tender vegetation, outdoor plants and flowers.
