Spring like temperatures are on tap for this week. Most places will, in general, see highs in the 70s through the week. Some locations in southern Arkansas will be close to 80 degrees a couple of days. Record highs will be challenged in a few spots on Wednesday, where calendar day records are in the mid 70s.
High temperatures today will be in the mid 60s to upper 70s.
There will not be a lot of rain today and tonight. Parts of southern and western Arkansas could get a half inch to an inch of precipitation through 600 am CST Tuesday, with lesser amounts elsewhere.
Our next Skywarn Spotter Training class is scheduled for Sharp County this Monday , February 20th in Cave City. The class will be from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and held at Fire Station No. 1. The class is FREE and open to the public.
