Wednesday rainfall chances will be highest across the western and central portions of the state, especially this evening into the late night hours of Wednesday.
A large part of Arkansas will be under a slight risk of severe weather on Friday. While all modes of severe weather will be possible, damaging winds and large hail are front and center. Locally heavy rain is also a concern.

On this day in Arkansas Weather History, 90 years ago, impacts from the Dust Bowl were felt across the state. Specifically, in Little Rock, the Weather Bureau noted reduced visibility from the blowing dust to as low as three miles lasting throughout the day.
