AVERAGE IN TERMS OF TEMPERATURES. DURING THE FIRST WEEK...
TEMPERATURES CAME CLOSE TO THE CENTURY MARK. THE COOLEST PERIOD WAS
FROM THE 12TH THROUGH THE 15TH. HOWEVER...IN MOST DAYS DURING THE
MONTH...AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM FIVE TO NEARLY TEN
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

PRECIPITATION WAS MINIMAL...MAKING IT THE DRIEST SEPTEMBER IN 98
YEARS. ALL MEASURABLE RAINFALL CAME IN THE 24-HOUR PERIOD ON THE 8TH-9TH.
