It will be warmer today across Southeast New Mexico and West Texas, with highs in the 90s for most. Temperatures in the 80s are possible across higher terrain, with 100s through the Rio Grande Valley. Thunderstorms will be possible once again, mainly along/west of the Pecos River, with the best chance from the Big Bend Area northwest to the Guadalupe Mountains. Severe weather is not expected, however, stronger storms could produce gusty wind, hail, and locally heavy rainfall which could lead to localized flooding.
