Thursday will be an extremely critical fire weather day for Southeast new Mexico and much of West Texas west of the Pecos River. Expect very dry and windy conditions.
High winds across the Guadalupe Mountains from Thursday afternoon into Friday.
Above normal temperatures expected again tomorrow though a weak cold front will keep the continue the slight cooling trend that started today.
