The latest version of the program is on: www.nws.noaa.gov/mdl/NDFD_GRIB2Decoder/ ----------- General News. I just wanted to let you all know, that I have just finished putting together a revised web site for degrib. The current version of the code is still 1.61 which I announced on 8/30/2004 (although I hope to come out with a new release soon). While constructing the new web site, I wanted to retain all the information that I had before, but to make sure the information was up to date. In addition, I've added a tutorial, a FAQ page, and a links page, which I think people will find useful. Finally, I've written up what I know about accessing the NCDC archive of NDFD forecast under a link called "Past Weather". With various elements in NDFD about to become operational, it is important that people know how to access historic forecasts. If you see any mistakes, or want to see some more information on a particular topic, please let me know. (Also, if you find the new site useful, it would be nice to know that too. :-) ) ----------- News about this release: ----------- Please let me know if you have problems. Regards, Arthur
