GFS-based forecast guidance from 24 to 192 hours in advance, for over 1600 stations in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. This message is created twice a day, at 0000 and 1200 UTC. For more information, please see the About MEX page.

MEX Full Text Messages will be available in the following directory, in the following directory/files:
gfsmos.YYYYMMDD/mdl_gfsmex.tCCz, where YYYYMMDD is the run datestamp, and CC is the cycle.

Canadian Extended-range MOS Min/Max Temperature Guidance will be available in the follwing directory/files:

Other Data

Messages can be found on NWS FTP Server (TGFTP). On this server, GRIB files are stored in directories called RD.YYYYMMDD, where YYYYMMDD is the year, month and day. Within the RD.YYYYMMDD directory, the files will be named cy.XX.txt, where XX is the cycle. These data will be available for two days.
