Heavy Rain From East Texas to the Central Gulf Coast; Lower Mississippi Valley

Showers and thunderstorms, heavy at times, are expected from south Texas to the central Gulf coast and the lower Mississippi Valley through the weekend. Heavy rain will also spread into the Pacific and interior Northwest, with snow in the higher elevations of the Cascades.
