Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop roughly along the Mississippi River between 1-2 PM CDT today. The storms will intensify as they push further east into West Tennessee and Northeast Mississippi during the late afternoon hours. Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes will be possible for areas east of the Mississippi River. The threat for severe weather will end by 8-10 PM CDT this evening as the storms push east of the Mid-South.
