Memorial Day weekend will be mostly sunny and hot, with afternoon heat index values around 100 degrees. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon over the Everglades and SE Florida metro areas.
Mostly clear skies tonight with lows ranging from the upper 60s in the interior to the mid 70s near the Gulf coast and upper 70s southeast coast.
Mostly sunny skies on Sunday with high temperatures in the lower to mid 90s, except upper 80s along the Gulf Coast. Heat index values will top out in the mid 90s to around 102 degrees, highest interior south sections.
Mostly sunny and hot weather is expected today. Light winds in the morning will increase to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, mainly south of West Palm Beach to the Miami area beaches.
