Mostly sunny and hot again today, with heat index values between 100 and 105 many areas this afternoon. Isolated showers or thunderstorms this afternoon will likely be confined to interior sections of Miami-Dade County.
Fair and warm tonight under mostly clear skies.
Memorial Day will once again be hot with highs in the lower to mid 90s away from the beaches, possibly as hot as the upper 90s over the Everglades and west of Lake Okeechobee. Heat index values will be in the 100 to 105 degree range in the afternoon. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible interior sections.
Surf conditions will be quite benign today at the local beaches, with only a low risk of rip currents. Heat index values will be near 100 degrees around midday to the early afternoon hours with surf temperatures in the lower 80s.
