...HEAT INDICES NEAR 100 DEGREES FOR MUCH OF INTERIOR...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms are possible across South 
Florida, but best chances are for the Gulf coast and interior areas 
this afternoon and early evening. The primary threats will be 
frequent cloud to ground lightning and brief heavy rainfall.

Temperatures: Heat indices will be near 100 degrees, or slightly
warmer, in the interior region of South Florida late this morning and
through the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Thunderstorms are possible mainly over interior sections Wednesday. 
There is a chance of thunderstorms for all areas Thursday through 
Saturday, mainly during the afternoon. The primary threat with this 
activity will be lightning and locally heavy rainfall.

No other Hazardous weather is expected at this time.
