There is a risk of strong to possibly severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening. Isolated damaging winds and small hail are possible with the stronger storms. The main risk is across the Plateau, central/southern Tennessee Valley and southwest North Carolina.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening. Another unseasonably warm day with highs in the 70s.
