Windy conditions developing across the far eastern Tennessee Mountains and Foothills late tonight and Monday. Southerly winds of 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected.
Widespread showers and possible storms south from late tonight through Monday morning. Locally heavy rain is possible.
The Winter Outlook for 2017-2018 calls for a trend toward warmer than normal temperatures. This does not mean periods of cold weather is not expected. There are equal chances of wetter or drier than normal conditions across much of the area.
