Another hot day is in store across the region with heat indices climbing well into the 90s across much of the area, and over 100 near Chattanooga. Practice heat safety - drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks in the shade.
This is to help spread awareness about the dangers of leaving a child, and even a pet, in a closed vehicle during a warm sunny day. Please spread the word: Beat the Heat, Check the Back Seat !!!
Practice Heat Safety. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in the shade as often as possible.
