A cold front will bring a slight risk of severe thunderstorms across East Tennessee overnight. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats, with large hail also possible.
A Windy Advisory is effect for the far east Tennessee Mountains and Foothills through early Friday morning. South winds may gust up to 55 mph in some locations, causing downed trees and power lines, and possibly some scattered power outages.
