• Driving Directions.  After parking, walk out to the street and turn left.  Walk one block. Turn left into the plaza and left again into the main entrance of SSMC4 (1305 East-West-Highway).  Walking time from the parking garage:  less than 5 minutes.
• Via the Washington, D.C., Metro (Washington, D.C. Metro map): 
  • Take the Red line to the Silver Spring Station (Silver Spring Metro Station map)
  • Exit the Silver Spring Station and turn left, going under the Metro overpass. 
  • At the first corner (Colesville Road and East-West Highway), turn left
  • Walk uphill, passing 4 buildings on left. 
  • Turn left into the plaza
  • Turn left again into the main entrance of SSMC4 (1305 East-West Highway). 
  • Total walking time from the Silver Spring station:  5-10 minutes.

Parking:

There is a municipal parking garage in the adjacent building (1315 East West Highway, or SSMC3) with 9-hour and 3-hour parking meters.  The rates are:

9-hour meter:  $0.45 per hour
3-hour meter:  $0.60 per hour

The parking meters only accept change (quarters, dimes, or nickels), so bring plenty of change with you.  You will be ticketed by the County if you park for more than 3 hours in a 3-hour space, even if you put more money in when the initial 3-hours have expired.  Do not park in any spaces labeled "PCS parking only" (which have no meters). These are reserved for monthly pass holders.
