Local Weather History For June 9th...

On the afternoon and early evening of June 9, 2004, several brief and
weak tornadoes developed across central Oklahoma. The tornadic supercells developed in an environment which was nearly tropical, associated with heavy rainfall and very little lightning. The tornadoes touched down across central and north-central Lincoln County, as well as in southeast Oklahoma County near Stanley Draper Lake. No significant damage was reported. |
