Winter storm developing across western U.S., possible impact to holiday travel

A developing storm system will bring wintry weather to much of the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West on Tuesday, with snow forecast for the Cascades, Sierra and parts of the Great Basin. Meanwhile, a potent storm system is expected to develop across the Plains on Wednesday, which could impact holiday travel in the Plains and West this week.
