Who we are
We are a group of scientists and engineers engaged in cutting-edge research and development
(R&D) of hydrologic ensemble prediction and data assimilation capabilities suitable for operational
hydrologic forecasting in NOAA/NWS. We also lead research-to-operation (RTO) transition of new
capabilities to the River Forecast Centers (RFC) and Weather Forecast Offices (WFO). We work closely
with other groups in HSMB, RFCs, software engineers in HSEB and other collaborators in and outside
of NWS.
