Dear Members of the Hydrology XML Consortium,

Happy New Year! This is your first quarterly update of the new year and serves as a way to keep in touch with one another until further HydroXC work is picked up.

Since the completion of Phase 3 of HydroXC work, things have been fairly quiet. NOAA/OHD and Michael Piasecki continue to present the hydrology XML concept in hopes of finding future support for the effort. We have received a warm response from CUAHSI regarding integration with their digital watershed representation (also known as WaterML), but the discussions are ongoing and more information will be shared as it becomes available.

In the meantime, if there are any other leads for possible funding or examples of good HydroXC use among consortium members, please let us know.
