Middle Tennessee Weather History

On May 24, 2000...
A five day stretch of severe weather reaches its zenith during the evening of the 24th and early the following morning. Eight tornadoes touch down over several hours, seventeen during the five days. The most damaging of these is an F2 which strikes southeast Hickman County, tearing a 7.8 mile path, and injuring 3. This is the 4th largest tornado outbreak in mid state history.
