...PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENT...

As we head through another period of unseasonably warm weather
over the next five days, we will likely, once again, find
ourselves in record setting territory. Right now, it looks like
our warmest two days will be on Saturday and Tuesday, although our
high temperatures will likely be averaging some 15 to 17 degrees
above normal each day.

Following are the high temperature records for Nashville for the
next five days, along with the forecast temperatures.

For tomorrow...the 29th...the record high is 83, set back in
1950. The forecast high is 85.

On Sunday...the 30th...the record high is 86, set in 1937.
The forecast high is 84.

On Monday...the 31st...the record high temperature is 85, set in
1950. The forecast high is also 85.

For next Tuesday...November 1st...the record high is 85, set back
in 1935. The forecast high at Nashville is 86. By the way, that 85
degree record for November 1st is also the record high for the
entire month of November. So, that record could be in jeopardy as
well.

For next Wednesday...November 2nd...the record high is 83, set
back in 1982. Our forecast high in Nashville for that day is also
83.
