And you know, it's not a wonder

The result of a fatal blunder

I paid no attention to the radio

I laughed at the man on the television

I got in my car because I just had to go

But now I'm aware it was only a fool's decision

Flash flood         will show no mercy

A wall of water   is so unforgiving

The unbelievers are no longer living --- flash flood!

I looked each way, there was no one around

And I proceeded to ignore the barricade

Now it's too late and I'm going to drown

A dire consequence of a deadly choice I made

You'd better take a warning seriously

Time after time we underestimate

The power of water moving along at a rapid rate
