Updated 2015 Precipitation Totals

A record wet Spring and early Summer of 2015, especially across eastern Colorado, helped to boost precipitation totals and brought an end to a multi-year drought across the southeast Plains. However, a fairly dry and hot late Summer and early Fall helped to level out the years precipitation totals, and with only one month left in the year, it looks like 2015 will miss out on being the wettest year on record across most of south central and southeast Colorado. The following graphics indicate 2015 accumulated precipitation totals, through November 30th, for select locales, with the green line the 2015 precipitation to date, the blue line the record highest year of precipitation, the brown line the 30 year average precipitation, and the red line the record lowest year of precipitation.
