.DISCUSSION...
A cold front making slow progress across the region will stall 
tonight as it moves into northern North Carolina. This will serve 
as a focal point for continued rain chances tonight into Monday 
across the southern half of the forecast area. Drier conditions 
Tuesday. An active, unsettled wet weather period for Wednesday 
through Friday, with gusty post-frontal northwest winds becoming 
likely Thursday night into Friday.
