.DISCUSSION...

...Prolonged period of dry weather overnight through Sunday...

High pressure will gradually build in from the west overnight
allowing winds to slowly diminish. Winds should finally become
light by dawn with patchy frost likely late tonight and again
Tuesday night from the New River Valley into southeast West
Virginia including the Alleghany Highlands. High pressure will
remain over the region through Friday.

Dry weather continues for the next 5 to 7 days as concerns for
drought developing or worsening will remain. Significant
drying of fuels is expected.
