.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will remain off the Southeast coast into this
weekend keeping above normal temperatures in place. A backdoor
cold front moving south from northern Virginia, will enter the
region this evening bringing a wind shift and slightly cooler air
to parts of the area Friday, before returning north as a warm
front Friday night. A stronger cold front will move through the
region from the Ohio Valley this weekend bringing a better chance
for more in the way of widespread showers Sunday. Brief drying
along with cooler weather returns as high pressure builds in early
next week.
