Overview

Strong instability with very humid air mass allowed a cluster of thunderstorms moving south into the region to intensify and become severe. There were numerous reports of tree damage and downed power lines. Storms also briefly trained allowing heavy rain to linger in some areas with radar estimated 2 to 4 inches of rain from parts of the Lake of the Ozarks region into south central Missouri.
