Look for widespread one to three inch rainfall amounts this weekend with isolated higher totals possible. This may result in additional rises on area waterways as well as flooding of poor drainage and flood prone areas.

Cooler conditions will slowly spill southeast into Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and Southwest Arkansas today with the passage of a cold front. Meanwhile, warmer and more humid conditions will persist a bit longer across Deep East Texas and much of North Louisiana with the cold front not arriving until late morning or during the afternoon.

Isolated to widely scattered showers and perhaps even a stray thunderstorm will remain possible today with a passing cold front.
