Cooler today with highs from the upper 60s north of I-20 to the mid 70s along the I-10 corridor. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms across the entire area, with chances diminishing during the afternoon hours, especially north of a Sterling City to Brownwood line.
After a cool start to the week, temperatures will warm well into the 90s to around 100 by Thursday, and remain hot through Saturday. Thunderstorm chances will re-enter the forecast by Saturday night as the next cold front moves through the area. Rain chances will continue through next Tuesday.
