Cooler today with highs from the upper 60s north of I-20 to the mid 70s along the I-10 corridor. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms across the entire area, with chances diminishing during the afternoon hours, especially north of a Sterling City to Brownwood line.
After a cool start to the week, temperatures will warm well into the 90s by Thursday, and remain hot through the end of the week. Thunderstorm chances will re-enter the forecast by Friday, and continue through Sunday.
For locations in and near: Abilene, Haskell, Throckmorton, Sweetwater, Anson, Albany, Stamford, Irby, Gannon, Eula, Clyde: Scattered showers across the Big Country north of I-20 AT 1020 AM will move southeast at 35 mph...producing rainfall amounts of 1/10 inch or less through noon.
