The coldest air of the season will follow an arctic frontal passage Wednesday night, and will be accompanied by brisk north winds. Very cold air will remain over the area into Friday.
Light wintry precipitation will be possible late Wednesday night and Thursday morning, primarly across the blue shaded area. With the warm ground temperatures and with precipitation expected to be light, only minor accumulation, if any, is expected. Stay tuned for updates and later forecasts.
Patchy light drizzle or light fog is possible along and east of a Haskell...Abilene... Brady line behind a cold front today. Winds will shift to the north at 10 to 20 mph this morning. Highs will range from upper 40s north to mid 50s along the I-10 corridor.
