An Arctic cold front should reach the area on Wednesday, bringing much colder air to the region. Morning lows are expected to drop into the 20s both Thursday and Friday mornings with afternoon highs only in the 40s.
For locations in and near: Abilene, San Angelo, San Saba, Mason, Junction, Ozona: A LARGE AREA OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD ACROSS THE CONCHO VALLEY AND HILL COUNTRY THROUGH THE LATE NIGHT HOURS. BETWEEN 11 PM AND 1 AM...MOST OF THE RAIN WILL OCCUR SOUTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM BALLINGER TO SAN ANGELO TO OZONA. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL FALL ACROSS MENARD AND KIMBLE COUNTIES...WHERE AMOUNTS NEAR 1/2 INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE. ELSEWHERE...EXPECT A FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WITH ONLY A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF RAIN.
