An Arctic cold front should reach the area on Wednesday, bringing much colder air to the region. Morning lows are expected to drop into the 20s both Thursday and Friday mornings with afternoon highs only in the 40s.
For locations in and near: Abilene, San Angelo, San Saba, Mason, Junction, Ozona: LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT A LARGE PART OF THE AREA THROUGH 9 AM. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WILL AFFECT AREAS EAST OF A SWEETWATER TO JUNCTION LINE...WHERE HOURLY RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1/10 AND 1/4 INCH, WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS AROUND 1/2 INCH IS EXPECTED. ELSEWHERE, RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE 1/10 INCH OR LESS.
