For locations in and near: San Angelo, San Saba, Mason, Junction, Ozona, Brady, Sonora, Barnhart, Menard, Eldorado, Eden: Between 400 AM and 630 AM, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop across the southern third of West Central Texas, mainly south of a Barnhart to Brady to Cherokee line. Some of these will contain brief heavy rainfall, and the thunderstorms will have occasional lightning. A quick quarter to half inch of rain is likely where the showers and storms occur, but localized amounts over an inch are possible. Motorists should be alert for sudden reductions in visibility and localized ponding of water on roads when encountering these showers and storms.
