Excessive Heat Continues in the Southwest on Monday

A cold front will bring relief to the Pacific Northwest on Monday, but the Southwest will see above average temperatures again. Excessive Heat Warnings are in effect for many locations through Monday evening. The hottest temperatures will be in the desert where day time high temperatures may exceed 115 degrees. Read More >

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible today, although most of the convection will remain north and west of the area. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Expect mostly cloudy skies, both Monday and Tuesday along with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be below seasonal normals, in the 80s. Overnight lows will be in the 60s to near 70 degrees.
